FlowerSong Press is proud to announce the launch of Xnital Books, a new imprint dedicated to publishing innovative and culturally resonant literature from the Borderlands, the Americas, and beyond.
Xnital Books will publish poetry in its first year and follow with fiction, nonfiction, and hybrid works that center on underrepresented voices and push the boundaries of literary form in the coming years. The name Xnital evokes illumination — a moment of clarity, revelation, and creative spark — reflecting the imprint’s mission to bring new light to contemporary literature.
“Xnital Books is an expansion of our commitment to amplifying voices that deserve greater visibility,” said FlowerSong Press. “This imprint allows us to support authors who redefine what literature can be.”
The imprint’s first titles will be announced in the Summer of 2026, with books planned for release in the Fall/Winter of 2026.

Xnital Books: Poetry Submissions 2026
Xnital Books is now open for poetry manuscript submissions.
We seek full-length collections that illuminate, challenge, and expand the literary landscape. We champion work from the Borderlands and beyond—voices rooted in place, memory, resistance, joy, and transformation.
What We’re Looking For
Full-length poetry manuscripts (50–120 pages)
All styles and traditions welcome
Poets from underrepresented communities strongly encouraged
Work that engages meaningfully with culture, language, identity, or place
Submission Period
January 1, 2026 – April 30, 2026
Guidelines
Submit a single PDF or DOCX manuscript.
Include a title page with your name, email, and manuscript title.
Include a brief bio (75–100 words).
Simultaneous submissions are allowed; please notify us if accepted elsewhere.
